Terms of Service

PamoDrive is a peer-to-peer ride-matching platform for Zambia. It allows drivers who are already travelling a route to post their trip, and riders travelling the same way to request to join and share the cost. PamoDrive is a platform that connects drivers and riders — we are not a taxi company, transport operator, or party to the transportation itself. Drivers are independent individuals, not PamoDrive employees or agents.

To use PamoDrive you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Hold a valid Zambian National Registration Card (NRC) or other accepted form of identification
• Provide accurate, current information when creating your account
• If registering as a driver, hold a valid driver's licence and have lawful use of the vehicle you list

• All users must provide a phone number and NRC number before requesting or being matched to a trip. Your NRC number is never shown in full to other users — it is masked and used only for identity verification purposes.
• Drivers must additionally submit a photo of their driver's licence, a photo of their vehicle, and their licence plate number. Driver accounts are manually reviewed before they are permitted to post trips. Verification confirms the documents were submitted and reviewed — it is not a guarantee of a driver's competence, insurance status, or ongoing legal compliance.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

• Drivers set the price per seat when posting a trip.
• Payment for trips is currently handled directly between the driver and rider at the time of the trip (cash or other arrangement agreed between them). PamoDrive does not currently process or hold payment on your behalf. If in-app payment is introduced in future, updated terms specific to that feature will apply.
• PamoDrive is not responsible for payment disputes between drivers and riders, though we may provide account information relevant to a dispute if legally required.

You agree not to:

• Provide false identity, vehicle, or licence information
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Attempt to circumvent driver verification requirements
• Use another person's account or identity documents
• Use the Service to arrange transport of illegal goods or for any purpose that would put another user at risk

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

PamoDrive facilitates introductions between drivers and riders but does not supervise trips, provide roadside assistance, or guarantee the safety of any journey. You are responsible for your own safety decisions, including whether to accept or continue a trip. We encourage users to share trip details with someone they trust and to verify the person and vehicle match what is shown in the app before travelling.

To help users make informed decisions, PamoDrive may show riders who else has been confirmed on a trip before they request to join, including name, photo, and self-reported gender (where a user has chosen to provide it). Gender is optional and self-reported; we do not verify it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PamoDrive and its operators are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or dispute arising from a trip arranged through the Service, including but not limited to accidents, vehicle condition, driver conduct, or payment disagreements between users. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

The PamoDrive name, logo, and app design are the property of PamoDrive. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without permission.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app where practical.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
